On the evening of 17th June we held a wonderful fundraising event in Derry in Northern Ireland, And what an achievement: we raised over €11,000 for the Lorna Byrne Children’s Foundation. Thanks to you, the lives of children who really need your help were changed for the better.
Over 350 people attended the event. Our founder Lorna Byrne was interviewed by Lynette Fay, broadcaster with the BBC and newspaper columnist who did a brilliant job. A huge thank you to each of you who came along both young and old.

A very special thank you to Peigi, Patricia, Jane and all of the APA Committee from Derry who helped us to organise everything. APA are one of our charity partners who do such amazing work on the project we are supporting with the Menja people in Ethiopia. A huge thank you goes to Simon Collins from the Derry Journal too who helped us so much in getting the word out.

All of the proceed from the event will go towards the Lorna Byrne Children’s Foundation. Fundraising events like this are so important. Through events like these we are able to fund so many amazing initiatives and projects in Ireland and across the globe so we hope to see many more of you at our events in the future.
Don’t forget to keep an eye out for our upcoming events here.
